Film tip 'Julia Butterfly Hill - Adventures in Treesitting'

This is the amazing story of Julia Butterfly Hill who spent more than two years on a giant tree without touching the ground.

The tree she lived on is more than a thousand years old and 50 metres high. This and other ancient Redwood trees was meant to be cut down by the local logging industry in California USA.

Julia's determination to withhold storms, cold and pressure by the logging company inspired countless activists around the world to this very day. Julia spent an incredible 738 days on top of the tree she named 'Luna'. Witness a truly fascinating adventure of activism.
