Film tip 'The Private Life of Plants'
The Private Life of Plants is part of David Attenborough's legendary "Life" series. The Life series were produced by the BBC over a time of 30 years and includes almost 80 episodes all together. It is an immensely beautiful and valuable record of the nature and animals of the planet.
The private Life of Plants is entirely dedicated to document the life of plants. As plants live on a different time-scale than us humans, the processes are shown by astonishing time lapse shoots. In 1995, when the first episode "Travelling" was broadcast, the technique and production quality set yet another benchmark for wildlife documentaries.
